An interdisciplinary journal integrating research in the social and natural sciences of water. Contains original contributions in hydrology; in the physical, chemical, and biological sciences; and in the social and policy sciences, including economics, systems analysis, sociology, and law.

Bulletin of the Ecological Society of America

Publishes letters, longer commentaries, and philosophical and methodological items related to the science of ecology, as well as announcements of meetings, reviews of meetings, and other resources for ecologists.

Ecology

Publishes research and synthesis papers on all aspects of ecology, with particular emphasis on papers that develop new concepts in ecology, test ecological theory, or lead to an increased appreciation for the diversity of ecological phenomena.

Ecological Applications

Contains research and discussion papers that integrate ecological science and concepts with their application and implications. Of special interest are papers that develop the basic scientific principles on which environmental decision-making should rest, and those that discuss the application of ecological concepts to environmental problem solving, policy, and management.

Biogeosciences

An open access international scientific journal, published by EGU, dedicated to the publication and discussion of research articles, short communications and review papers on all aspects of the interactions between the biological, chemical and physical processes in terrestrial or extraterrestrial life with the geosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere.
